Fall 2010-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Student activities.

*On August 15, 2010, the school celebrates the Indian Independent Day. We have photos of many student activities during the event. Also, a number of Buddhist Monks and Nuns have visited and brought gifts to the students as well as making donations to the needy villagers.

*On September 5th, 2010, our Nun and the local team have organized the Teacher's Day at the temple school together with the Opening Ceremony for the school library. Small gifts and flowers are presented to the school teachers as a mark of showing repect and appreciation. All are happy to have a small library for use. Hoping that we will be able to get more books for the students in the future! A dance program performed by the student follows at the end.

*Also, on September 30, 2010, teachers and students have a welcoming ceremony for the Director Nun-their Mata-Ji. We are posting the photos sent to us and we will update you with the details as soon as we get them.

Our best wishes are always with them!
